Threats and Opportunities with Heritage
After the AGM we will have David Watt (Senior Outreach Advisor at Regional Services, Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga) speak to us on some current issues around heritage in the capital. David has had over 27 years with Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga, following a career in public relations in Parliament, in other parts of the public and private sector, a local body politician for 12 years, being the last Mayor of Tawa and a former deputy Mayor of Wellington for six years from 1989-1995. He has had extensive involvement with owners of heritage properties on conservation issues and coordinating heritage events around the Wellington region.
